Richard's First Day
Richard started his internship at the U.S. Embassy in London today. He can't really mention on the blog what he did today but he enjoyed it and is looking forward to getting some real assignments later on. He said the people were all nice and there are even some other Utahns working there.

Is there housing around the embassy at all? what is right around it?
There is housing near the embassy, along with office buildings, parks, streets, theaters, shops, museums, cinemas, restaurants and other countries' embassies. It is basically "downtown" London so most things you would assume would be there are there. Of course, housing in this immediate area would be incredibly expensive. From all I can tell most of the staff live at least 20 minutes away.
There is green space right next to the embassy itself.
Looks like a cool building. What a neat experience.
